Art brought into the light
Part of my work as an expert assessor is the photography of stringed instruments. I create professional high-resolution photos for publications, professional articles, certificates, appraisals and other purposes.
The Equipment
My basic equipment consists of a view camera (bellows camera) from ArcaSwiss with a digital back from Fuji (FujiGFX100 up to 400MP resolution) as well as studio flash equipment. It is particularly important to match the individual pieces of equipment correctly, as this is a prerequisite for a colour-neutral result that is as close as possible to the original.
