In my workshop, you will find an exceptionally wide range of services, all focused on string instruments. On the one hand, I deal with the complex restoration and repair of instruments and, on the other hand, with the application and development of state-of-the-art analysis and examination methods for documentation.

For sale in my workshop are mainly antique string instruments,
which have either been restored and set up by me
or are being sold on commission.

I would like to give you a brief overview of my journey to Cologne and my centrally located workshop.

So it’s particularly nice to have a colleague sitting next to you every day with whom you can eagerly exchange thoughts and ideas! Johannes Loescher is a colleague whom I hold in high regard and who is one of the specialists in our workshop for “early music” (historically informed practice), among other things. He enjoys international recognition for his expertise, restoration, and the construction of string instruments that are as faithful to the originals as possible.
